Makeup should always be removed at the end of the day to prevent clogged pores and breakouts from occurring. There are a number of options that work fast to remove makeup in a single step. I recently tried Nu-pore Make-up Remover Tissues. Is this product worth trying, or should you keep looking?
Price
On a recent shopping trip, I remembered that I was out of makeup removing wipes. I soon spotted Nu-pore Make-up Remover Tissues and decided to try them out. There are 30 5.5 x 7.9in (14 x 20cm) wipes in each pack.
Product Description
Nu-pore Make-up Remover Tissues are intended to cleanse and moisturise the face and remove makeup in a single step. In addition, they are meant for all skin types. According to Nu-pore, this product deep cleans and unclogs pores, leaving skin feeling smooth and soft.
This product is intended to remove eyeliner, eye shadow, lipstick and blusher. When removing eye makeup, make sure you close your eyes and avoid getting the tissues into your eyes, as the moisture can cause slight irritation. If you experience contact with your eyes, rinse your eyes with warm water.
My Thoughts
I normally like the convenience of a single step makeup remover so that I do not have to use bottles of cleanser, moisturiser and toner to do the job in different stages. When I first pulled out a tissue to remove my makeup, I was pleased with the light fragrance, moistness and the feel of the tissue.
But it was very flimsy and my makeup did not come off as easily as I thought it would. I had to apply firmer pressure and even then I needed to use other products to completely remove my mascara and eyebrow pencil. But I did find that the tissues left my skin feeling smoother and firmer.
Recommendation
Although I was pleased with the price of Nu-pore Make-up Remover Tissues, they did not easily remove my makeup or leave my face feeling thoroughly cleansed. The tissues felt too flimsy and required more effort to remove make-up than I was led to believe. I do not plan on buying Nu-pore Make-up Remover Tissues again and would not recommend this product.
