Review: Online Episode Player - CW

CWTV Video

Judith Blakley
CW's online episode player is relatively easy to use and does not come with a lot of fuss. It is a rather basic player and everything is on one page. For that reason, the page does keep refreshing with each new choice. They do not have as many shows to choose from as other major networks, but they do have all the important shows people want to watch.

Shows Currently Available:

Gossip Girl
America's Next Top Model
Aliens in America
Reaper
One Tree Hill
Beauty And The Geek
Supernatural
Smallville
Life is Wild
Everybody Hates Chris
Girlfriends
The Game
The Search For The Next Pussycat Doll

How To Use CWTV Video:

1. CWTV Video's web address is: www.cwtv.com/cw-video

2. The list of shows will appear in a vertical scroll on the far left side of the page. The episode player will be in the middle of the page, just slightly on the left side. On the far right side of the page will be highlighted videos. Once you choose your show, episodes of that show will appear where the highlighted videos are.

3. Click on the show of your choice, the page will refresh, then choose the episode from the list on the far right side of the page. The video will play and you can adjust the size of the screen, the volume and you can email the video to a friend.

My Experiences Using CWTV Video:

I am relatively new to using CWTV, but have found it rather easy to use. The page does refresh a couple of extra times for some unknown reason, but that does not interfere with watching any episodes. They do not update immediately after the show has aired, so I have had to wait a couple extra days to be able to watch a show I missed.

No matter how I try to get the CW episode player to work no matter how long I wait for an update it never does, I wonder if it's because i'm using an apple instead of a microsoft machine.
Anyone out there know how to get it to work please help me out Thank you.

Writer's Strike Note: When you watch a television show online, download a podcast or buy a season on DVD - the writers get no residual income. The actors, producers and network make money, but the people who wrote the words the actors spoke get nothing.
