The InStyler is a cross between a traditional flattening iron, a curling iron and a styling brush. This styling and straightening tool has a rotating heated polishing cylinder and four rows of precision aligned bristles.
The rotating cylinder keeps your hair from getting baked with heat like traditional irons. Pull the InStyler down from root to tips to straighten. Straighten to the end and then curls the ends for a flip. Or wrap your hair around the cylinder for curls. You can do a full style in 8 minutes. So it not only saves space on hair tools, it saves you time.
The get Instyler website has videos to help you achieve the look you desire. Choose from: straightening curly hair, straightening tight curls, doing a flip in, doing a flip out, getting extra lift and volume, taking your hair from damp to dry, adding volume to short hair, short hair styling, root straightening, styling African American hair, working with extensions, bangs, and a section for working with fine or thin hair.
The InStyler has three different heat settings. We women know that different hair textures are going to require the ability to use more heat sometimes. Start with the lowest temperature setting to see how that works before trying the hotter settings.
The InStyler was invented by two professional hair stylists. The cylinder has a diameter of 1 1/4 inches and the bristles are heat resistant nylon.
If you like to achieve superstar looks; check out Dean's List on the InStyler site for tips to achieve the hairstyles of Hayden Panettiere, Amy Adams, America Ferrera and Kate Winslet.
The InStyler has gotten published reviews in such publications as US Weekly, The New York Post, Celebrity Society, Redbook, 944, The Chicago Sun Times and O, the Oprah Magazine. You can see the review on Oprah.com where the InStyler was included in their reviews of 5 Beauty Innovations.
We truly value the opinions of other writers and reviewers. We found an article on the top 8 flat irons and hair straighteners at about.com where the InStyler was listed as the best "as-seen-on-TV" flat iron. Though it is so much more than a flat iron; the reviewer published a testimonial from a friend with short, wavy and hard to straighten hair who now swears by the InStyler.
You can purchase the InStyler directly from the getinstyler.com website. From what we understand, it is not available in stores currently.
