Most are unaware of this, but Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner, is actually meant to be used as an aftercare conditioner for those of you whom actually bought their straightening treatment.
I however did not, and figured I could go ahead and use this one alone, without doing the entire treatment of straightening my hair for a non-permanent amount of time. I can do that on my own, without some harsh chemicals, using a straight iron.
This particular conditioner promised so pretty wonderful things, and being semi new to the market, I was giddy to give it a go. At a decent price of $7.99, I got 50% more in the bottle than one normally would.
At any rate, the promise to smooth, de-frizz, and leave my hair straight and shiny, I went ahead and bought it. I knew though that the entire 'straight' promise was hooey though, as I have a rare thick hair form, where it is curly, wavy, and frizzy all in one. Without the use of gel, or straight irons, my hair is an embarrassing caveman like mess. I knew that this conditioner would solve no miracles as far as straightening it went, but I wanted it mostly to keep frizz at bay, and to leave the hair more manageable after showering.
The Scent:
Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy Conditioner smells pretty delicious! It has a creamy beachy coconut like scent to it, that I knew I would enjoy. In the shower this scent also seems to intensify. The downside though is that the scent vanishes once you dry your hair.
Does It Work?
Nope.
In fact, I found this particular conditioner to be a complete and utter waste of money. In the shower after leaving it in for about 5 minutes, I rinsed. My hair actually felt thick, grimy and weighed down. I knew that this would effect the overall drying period of my hair terribly. I however had high hopes and let my negative thought filter out.
Well, my negative thoughts were spot on. My hair felt weighted, greasy, and it was more unmanageable than it usually is after showering. Kinks, knots, and fighting with my hair was what followed.
Overall:
Skip on this one. Save your money and buy something else. Organix usually works really well for me, but there is clearly something in this one that leaves hair feeling grimy, dirty, and no...the frizz and fray is still present after using it. I may as well have washed with nothing at all.

Post a CommentHey, maybe if you left in a lot longer than 5 mins maybe you would see better results. Since your hair is already messed up, times 3, wouldn't you think it needs more time to set in your hair. I guess not. Try it again and read the instructions more carefully, maybe you will be more satisfied.
