Review of the Original Shoe Goo

When the sole of a $180 designer heel starts to peel from the actual shoe, you sort of get angry...no, not sort of, you go mad with anger.

This was what began to happen to my first pair of ever so expensive shoes, and the fact that it began happening after just 4 times wearing the wedges, I got really angry that I wasted so much money on shoes that were put together more poorly than low end Payless shoes.

However, due to the fact that these wedges were so adorable, I wanted to fix this issue before it got to the point where the shoes simply needed to get thrown out.

My girlfriend told me about Shoe Goo, but I did not think it would actually work for me, as I have tried repairing loose soles on shoes before with absolutely horrid results. I wanted theses shoes fixed badly though, so I went ahead and began the Shoe Goo hunt down. Sadly I came up empty, and had no choice but to purchase the stuff online off of Amazon.

Once my shipment came in, I immediately went to work. I cleaned the area of the sole where the goo had to be applied, and went ahead and added a small amount as directed. The sole then needs to be held down with something to apply pressure. I placed a heavy textbook on it, and left it alone.

Come morning, the Shoe Goo had done it's job. It cured perfectly and fixed the sole so it looked like the shoe was brand new.

The Last:

The soles on the wedges are intact fully, and I have been wearing the shoes regularly with no signs of lifting or tearing on the soles.

Overall:

I did not think this would work as well as it actually did. If you have a pair of shoes with loose or lifting soles, this Shoe Goo will fix it.
