Review of Pall Mall Lights Cigarettes

Johanna Swith
I have been trying so hard to quit smoking. I turned to Nicorette only to find myself crazily longing for a cigarette after chewing $80 worth of gum. I also found myself feeling sick to my stomach after chewing too much Nicorette gum on a few occasions. I began hand rolling my own non filtered cigarettes because of the federal cigarette tax increase of $6.50 per carton. This has helped me save money and cut back on my smoking. When I hand roll cigarettes I can smoke for a week for around $7. Today while I was in my local Cheap Tobacco store I could not resist buying a pack of cigarettes as a special indulgence. I was looking for a cheap brand and I ended up going with Pall Mall Lights or Blues. I had never smoked a Pall Mall before so I did not know what to expect but I knew they could not be worse than a Golden or Basic cigarette. I paid $3.90 for a pack of Pall Mall Lights, which was 40 cents cheaper than Sonoma's, a brand I have never heard of.

I must admit, I don't know if it had just been a while since I had a 'real' cigarette, or if these cigarettes are as great as they tasted to me. After a month of smoking non filtered cigarettes I have grown accustomed to them and as I wait as long as possible between cigarettes before smoking another one I am generally just happy to have the smoke in my lungs.

When I first lit a Pall Mall light I felt so luxurious with my pre rolled cigarette. It was a nice change from my skinny little non filters. Pall Malls are smooth, they taste good and the price was much more affordable than my $6 a pack old brand. I still cannot afford to purchase Pall Malls on a daily basis, but when I can indulge, you better believe I will be indulging with a Pall Mall Light! In my opinion, Pall Mall Lights have a very similar flavor to parliament Lights, without the recessed filter. I will purchase this brand again and I would also recommend the Pall Mall brand to other smokers who are looking for a cheaper brand with a great flavor. Pall Mall cigarettes are available in Light, Ultra Light, Full Flavor and Menthol light blends and available at most retailers.
