The Palm Pre LX370 includes a standard headphone jack for listening to music and I love this because it can store all my MP3 files. The phone also offers a flash that is bright enough to take decent photos in the dark and this is a major plus. I also love the user interface on the Pre because everything works with swiping a finger to bring up a menu and then tapping to launch the Internet or any application.
The interface is responsive and I am able to switch between applications in addition to multitasking with ease. The browser is very fast and works on EVDO and Wifi and I love that I have a choice of either connection. You can also switch between applications that you are currently using and this makes business very easy when I am traveling. They also have a messaging feature that allows you to switch between SMS and AIM for contacts and keep them in threaded view messages so you have everything in one place. The Palm Pre LX370 also automatically syncs email messages and Facebook contacts so you automatically see any updates as they happen live on Facebook. The phone lasts about 5 hours and this is great battery life for sure a small phone.
I don't like the fact that the keys are so small because it makes typing hard and not very accurate on the Palm Pre LX370 . What I also don't like is that the Palm Pre LX370 charges via micro USB and the phone is only a couple of inches big. I find it easy to misplace and the plastic material feels like it would break very easily. I also had the Blackberry Tour that ran $310. The Blackberry Tour had a boot time of 3 seconds and the Pre LX370 boots in about 10 seconds. The Tour was about double the size of the Pre but the keys were larger and easier to use on the Tour. The Blackberry Tour also lasted 5.5 hours but I love the features of the Palm Pre LX370 more than the Tour in addition to the size. The Tour also does not have Wifi while the Palm Pre does.
