Review of Pantene Pro-V Curly Hair Series: 2 in 1 Dry to Moisturized Shampoo & Conditioner

As you might have read in my previous article, Tips for Taking Care of a Little Girl's Really Curly Hair, my daughter's tresses can be hard to tame. As she is getting older, I decided to try out a different product rather than the one marketed towards kids that I have used in the past. "Pantene's Pro-V Curly Hair Series" immediately caught my eye in the aisle. The "2-1 Dry to Moisturized Shampoo & Conditioner" is perfect for our morning routine; she needs all the moisturizing that she can get and we are limited on time.

The Smell and Texture
The first time we used it, I noticed almost a fruity scent the moment I popped the top. It reminds me of the fresh kids products I was using before. It lathered up really nice on her hair and coated every strand easily.

The Effects in the Shower
I noticed right away her curls separating and detangling as I was finger combing her hair before rinsing. If washed out easily without any hard to get out leftover residue some 2 in 1 products leave behind. The only drawback about using this on kids is that you have to be more careful about getting it in her eyes.

The Results
(I did not put in the leave-in conditioner that I usually do to give the product a full review.) Combing was easy and effortless with less flinching by my baby girl. As my daughter's hair dried, the natural ringlets around her face sprung up beautifully and her tresses were soft and less frizzy than usual.

In short, for a lot of curls, I still recommend using a leave in conditioner to keep frizz down, even with the wonderful results of using Pantene's Curly Hair Series: 2 in 1 Dry to Moisturized Shampoo & Conditioner. We have found our new favorite hair care brand for my daughter; one that will last her even as she grows older.
