Pedomostick Uses Pedomiter and LED Technologies

My father recently had the unfortunate experience of having a heart attack at an early age in his life. This heart attack caused him to lose most of the mobility in his left leg. The good news is that doctors believe he will regain most of the mobility back in his leg. However, this can only be done through lots of operating. What this basically comes down to is that my father has to walk a lot everyday. In fact, they told him that he should walk four miles a day to maintain a healthy lifestyle and give the leg a proper work out. After much searching I found the Pedomostick, a step counting device and walking stick all in one.

The first thing my father was given when he left the hospital was a cane to assist him in his walking. This is why the Pedomostick is the best product for him to have. This clever device happens to be a traditional looking walking stick that comes equipped with a pedometer. A pedometer is a measuring instrument for recording the number of steps taken in walking. My father will be able to go for a walk using the walking stick, as required, and be able to measure the amount of steps he is taking.

Now the cool part of this neat little product. The Pedomostick will then calculate the amount of steps that you are taking and convert them into miles. You can read the results from a bright LED headlight that is built into the Pedomostick. The readings are displayed on the screen that is smartly built on top of the walking handle. This is clever because it makes it easy for you to look down and see where you stand towards your walking goal without actually having to stop. Basically, you can keep working out while constantly checking how far you have actually gone.

You can also rest assured knowing that the Pedomostick is made out of solid aluminum. This allows the stick to hold a reasonable amount of weight upon it. Your hand will also feel comfortable holding the rubber base. The rubber base is also designed so that your hand does not easily slip off of it when perspiration comes from your exercise. Another thing that my father enjoyed about this product is that it has several adjustable heights. This is because he has back issues and stands at a different height during different periods of the day.

The Pedomostick allows my father to monitor the amount that he is walking instead of estimating that amount and hurting himself in the long wrong. He was also pleased with the price of the device, as most stores sell it for less than one hundred dollars. If you know someone who is currently walking with an old wooden cane, tell them about this product. They will be pleased by how easy the transition will be and how helpful the Pedomostick actually is.
