Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread Offers the Flavors of Five Different Cheeses

Pepperidge Farm makes some of my favorite things in the cookie and cracker aisle. So it wouldn't be a surprise for anyone who knows me that I have taken quite well to Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread featuring five different cheeses. Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread makes a wonderful complement for all types of meals, including fish dinners, chicken dinners, steak dinners, and Italian-themed dinners.

Preparation

First of all, the only way you should prepare Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread is in your conventional oven. Pepperidge Farm does not recommend cooking this bread in a microwave. Instead, it should be baked in a conventional oven.

Be sure your oven is preheated to 400 degrees before placing the two halves of the garlic cheese bread onto a baking sheet. Be sure the cut, cheese-covered side of the bread is facing up, away from the pan. After you've placed the bread onto the baking sheet, place the pan into the middle rack of your oven for 9 to 10 minutes.

Flavor

Your first question probably is 'what are the five different cheeses on the Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread?' Let's take a look at the cheeses on this five-cheese bread: Monterey Jack, Mozzarella, Muenster, Provolone, and Cheddar. Wow! It's like a small cheese reunion is taking place on your plate! This garlic cheese bread tastes that good, too. I think what really makes this bread flavorful, though, is the combination of those cheeses with the garlic.

Thankfully, this bread is not plastered in melted cheese. A lot of cheese breads you'll find on the frozen aisle at your grocery store taste good but are absolutely drenched in a greasy cheese coating or have tons of melted cheese right on top of the bread. This Pepperidge Farm Garlic Cheese Bread does have a definite cheese layer, but it isn't very thick, will not gag you as you swallow it, and does not overwhelm the mouth with a cheese flavor. The garlic offsets the cheese flavor a bit and harmonizes quite well with the dynamic blend of cheeses in this bread.
