The Phillips Senseo Coffee Machine is Easy to Use
If you can operate a normal drip coffee maker, you're already overly-experienced for using the Senseo. In fact, the Senseo is so simple to use, my three-year-old knows how to do it. First, fill up the reservoir in the back with cold water and place a coffee mug (or two) under the spout, second, place a coffee pod in the holder and close the lid, third, turn the machine on. After the indicator light turns off, signaling that the water is hot, press a button to brew a delicious cup of coffee!
The Senseo has a few different options for brewing. You can use the two-pod basket provided to brew two pods at once, creating a stronger cup of coffee. In addition, there are two different buttons to select the amount of water you want in your coffee. The two cup button makes a normal 8oz cup of delicious Senseo coffee (or two 4oz cups), whereas the one-cup button makes only 4oz. So, depending on whether you want a lot or a little, strong or not-so-strong, the Phillips Senseo Coffee Machine has you covered.
The Phillips Senseo Coffee Machine is Inexpensive
There are a number of single-serve coffee makers on the market today, ranging in price from $30 to well over a hundred. The Senseo gives you the most bang for your buck at about $70. In fact, many times you can find Senseo gift packs such as this one that include two packages of Senseo pods, two canisters to keep your pods fresh, and a traveler mug, for about what you'd pay for just the Senseo itself. In addition, the coffee pods are relatively inexpensive. Places like Wal Mart and Target tend to carry the 18 pod packs for around $4. When you consider the convenience and the amount you're not spending on a pricey Starbucks beverage, these pods are a steal.
The Phillips Senseo Coffee Machine Makes Excellent Coffee
One sip of your freshly brewed Senseo coffee will be all it takes to convince you that this is the most delicious cup of coffee you've ever made. Every cup of Senseo coffee produces a lightly frothy top, and is always just the right temperature. You can try coffee pods from other makers in your Senseo, but you will be disappointed. Senseo has perfected their coffee pods to provide the perfect amount of coffee grounds and just the right balance of flavors. Another great thing about Senseo coffee is that it comes in variety of flavors and strengths. Medium or dark roast, every coffee drinker in your family will find their match. If you enjoy flavored coffees, Senseo also offers Hazelnut and Vanilla as well as Chocolate Creme and Creme Brulee. As if these weren't options enough, your single-serve Senseo coffee is also offered in Breakfast Blend, Sumatra, Brazil, Kenya, or Columbia Senseo pods, just to name a few.
Overall Impression of The Phillips Senseo Coffee Machine
This inexpensive single-serve coffee maker should be on the countertop of any busy family. Its sleek design makes it an attractive addition to the kitchen, and it comes in a variety of colors to perfectly match your kitchen's decor. The Senseo is easy to clean and maintain and creates a delicious cup of coffee year after year. The Senseo saves time and money, and most importantly provides you with an amazing cup of coffee brew after brew.

OOH I was wondering about these!!! I SUCK at making my own coffee so I usually make a mix of international house of coffee mayan chocolate flavor with instant folgers in hot milk and it doesn't taste awful.
Lindsay, from one coffee lover to another, thanks for the review. This sounds like a great product. Maybe I'll have to add it to my Christmas list for Santa! ;)
