Monthly Fee/ Contract Information:
There are two ways that the fee is figured the first way is flat fee. The flat fee is $57.95 monthly for a family, $40.31 for adults, $17.66 for Teenagers and youths. However they also offer a personal pricing membership program. This plan is designed to help a greater number of individuals and families to become members of the YMCA by using your income level to determine your personal YMCA membership rate. The plan provides affordable monthly membership rates for families with annual incomes $50,000 and under, adults with incomes $35,000 and below, and seniors with annual incomes of $30,000 and under. Even those without membership can use the YMCA for $7.00 per day, per person.

Review:
I visited the Pike County YMCA on April 7, 2010 at 12:15 PM. The Staff at the Pike County YMCA are very courteous, friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking around the facility. The front of the building has more parking available than most other places in Waverly.

There is a lot of stuff to do there such as aqua aerobics and step aerobics. The facility has basketball courts, free weights and weight machines. There is a large variety of cardio equipment including treadmills, spin bikes, ellipticals and more. There are also locker rooms that have showers, hair dryers and separated based on gender or family.

The building is kept clean and the swim area is monitored with a lifeguard and people keeping an eye on things to make sure that no one slips and falls.
The YMCA provides Child Watch with membership. They will watch your children while you workout. They are very attentive to the children. They have an outdoor play area for the children. While you are working out you can rest assured that your children will be well taken care of and have lots of fun themselves.

The Pike County YMCA also has YMCA Dance at various times throughout the year. It is great place for the kids to gather and have fun while being safe.
