Upon walking in, I notice that the store takes advantage of every inch of space possible. There are fliers listing various events plastered all over the front of the large counter that sits in the front side of the store. Shelves and racks are all over, but the store is not cluttered. As I walk through, I notice that it is incredibly organized and neat. You will not have a problem finding anything as the signs show where you can find everything you are looking for. I have walked through many other music stores and noticed that the items were out of place. I am used to seeing a "Beatles" CD mixed in with a CD of "The Wiggles." I went into the Princeton Record Exchange in the early evening and looked for something out of place, and left without finding anything that was out of order.
In addition to selling merchandise, Princeton Record Exchange gives you the option of receiving cash or store credit for your items that they buy from you. They buy LP's, CD's, DVD's, video games and several other types of items that you no longer want. If you do not have time to go in to sell your items, there is a questionnaire online that you can fill out regarding what you have. There is also the option of calling them.
Princeton Record Exchange has an extensive selection of music, both well known and yet to be discovered artists. They also have many records and DVD's to look through. Several of the DVD's I came across were under $4. I also saw records and CD's for a ridiculously cheap price. Some of their items were still wrapped in the original shrink-wrap; the rest that was not was in excellent condition. Do not let the price fool you; when you buy you are getting quality items.
If you are looking to stock up your entertainment items, Princeton Record Exchange is the place to visit. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and plan on going back again soon.
