Gameplay
The objective of the game is to defeat the gray-colored aliens that are invading your planet. You start out with a wooden bat. As you progress through the game, you can earn cash and purchase better weapons. The enemies appear randomly but always close by, so you know where they are. The enemies are also equipped with weaponry similar to your own. However, they may at times have better weapons than you, so it is important to keep up with weapon upgrading.
At the top-left of the screen, you can see how much life you have, your current score, the number of coins you have, the wave you are on, the number of Nades (grenades) you have at your disposal, and the number of kills you need to make before you can advance to the next wave.
As you damage your enemies, they will drop green circular objects that can be collected to help heal you. Once you kill an enemy, they will spill out many green and yellow circular objects. The yellow circular objects are coins that you can collect to use later at the shop to purchase a variety of things.
At the end of each wave, you will get some coins for defeating the wave, as well as a few grenades. You also get a report of your current total score and number of kills. At this point, you can enter the shop by clicking on Shop at the bottom-left.
At the shop, you can purchase:
-life: increase life by 10 points
-grenades: purchase 3 at a time
-dagger
-sword
-generic Anime sword
-machine gun
-shotgun
-rocket launcher
-machine gun ammo: purchase 10 at a time
-shotgun ammo: purchase 6 at a time
-rockets for rocket launcher: purchase 5 at a time
The number of coins you have are displayed at the bottom of the shop. On the top-right of the shop screen, you can view the supplies that you currently have to assess and determine your needs and wants.
Once you purchase an item, you can use the item by switching to it by pressing numbers 1-7. The order they are listed in the shop corresponds to the number that is pressed to activate the weapon, starting from 2, since your default weapon (wooden bat) takes up slot 1. The dagger, then, fills slot 2, the sword is slot 3, and so on.
When you die, the game will end and display your statistics, including how many waves of enemies you have lasted, your final score, and the number of kills you made.
In the game options section, you can toggle game effects, camera shaking, game quality, and game volume.

Game Review
Protect Your Planet! is an extremely repetitive game that can be entertaining for only so long. Even with the variety of weapons that are purchaseable at the shop, there is not much appeal to try and get these weapons, since the gameplay can become quite uninteresting after a while. This game is fine for the first few rounds. After that, players start wanting more.
Protect Your Planet! scores a 3/10 for its high level of repetitive gameplay and low replay value. Making each wave more diverse and including more obstacles would make this game better.
