Review of Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub

The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub is on overstock.com's top ten beauty products. Admittedly, I was quite skeptical about Pure Island's Margarita Sugar Scrub at first because I have never heard of the brand "Pure Island" and the packaging was so simple and unsophisticated. Also, I did not know why they used the word "Margarita" describe a beauty product. But I tried it nevertheless, because when it comes to beauty products, I will try everything once.

The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub has a very thick consistency. The granules of the scrub are not as fine as I would like them to be. The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub smells sweet. The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub has a lot of oil in it too. I tried it before I went tanning last week. I put a generous amount of the Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub on a small part of my legs and on the soles and tops of my feet. The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub left my feet quite soft and I did not experience any irritation or adverse reactions to it. I decided that I would use it on my entire body the next day.

Upon using the Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub on my entire body, I immediately felt that I was cleaner and smoother. This particular scrub really works well to remove all the dead skin cells on the body. I scrubbed an extra generous amount on my elbows, knees and again on the soles of my feet. I really like how this scrub is so effective without being abrasive. The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub is a great exfoliant and I think with regular use, you will get more even looking and radiant skin. Most of the time, the Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub's oils spill on to the shower floor if you are not careful when you get the scrub from the container. The trick is to make sure you have equal amounts of the scrub and the oil every time you get it from the container. I would suggest getting a scooper that fits inside the twelve ounce jar (so that you won't misplace it) and mixing the contents of the Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub before taking a scoop out. The Pure Island Margarita Sugar Scrub is quite reasonable at seventeen dollars per twelve ounce jar. I always feel so soft and smooth after using it.
