Review of Purina Little Bites Dog Food

Buying the best dog food for the money is an important responsibility. When I thought it was time to change my dog's diet from her puppy food to adult food, I turned to Purina Little Bites dog food. I didn't know if my best friend would like it, but the Purina Little Bites dog food bag promised "Big Nutrition & Big Taste" and since it was from Purina I felt confident giving it a try.

My little dog took the change in diet very well. There was no period of diarrhea or constipation, nor was there any puking. She seems to be happy with the taste and does not let it waste. She is even happy when we use the pieces as a treat. With her previous dog food, she had ate it well but I noticed that she wasn't as excited about the food when it was given. I also noticed that she had fewer bouts of gas when eating the Purina Little Bites dog food.

I like the size of the Purina Little Bites dog food because I don't need to worry about choking. Other pet owners will appreciate the size for dogs with bad teeth and gums. The Purina Little Bites bag says that the small pieces promote healthy teeth and gums.

Purina Little Bites dog food claims to be 100% complete and balanced. Little Bites are high in protein including real chicken, have 23 vitamins and minerals including antioxidants, and are crunchy, bite-sized kibble. These are the main reasons that I bought Purina Little Bites dog food. I want a dog food that has everything good in it, but nothing bad.I also don't want to give extra vitamins to my pet and so it is important that I buy the best I can.

Surprisingly, Purina Little Bites isn't meant to be only for small dogs, but large ones as well. While there is a picture of a small type dog on the package, there is a paragraph that begins "Whether your dog is big or small".

I would recommend Purina Little Bites to all dog owners. I can't imagine any dog not liking Purina Little Bites after seeing how much my dog liked it. Since the price is slightly lower than Puppy Chow, I know that I am not overpaying.

I bought Purina Little Bites dog food at Walmart, although it is available at most quality stores. I paid $4.99 for a four pound bag.
