Review of Push Up Pro: Does it Live Up to the as Seen on TV Claims?
A Family Review of the Push Up Pro: Is it Worth the Money?
I decided to test out his claims by having three of my family members try out and review the Push Up Pro.
The Push Up Pro is a new way to do push-ups. The rotating grips allow your arms and shoulders to rotate more naturally while doing push-ups. The rotating action works more muscles, and reduces the strain on your joints.
The set of two grips have rubberized comfort grips, steel ball bearings for smooth rotation, and a non-slip base. I tested the base on the wall, carpet and wood flooring, and found it to be surprisingly stable on all surfaces.
There are four levels for the Push Up Pro: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert. The beginner level is when you stand and hold the Push Up Pro grips against a wall with your arms extended out in front of you. For the Intermediate Level, you do a push-up while on your knees. The Advanced Level is just like a standard push-up, and the Expert Level is when you do a push-up with your feet raised up on a chair.
I am not a person who normally works out, so I started with the beginner level. The beginner level is a good workout, without being too difficult. I like that the grips take the pressure off of my wrists, and my nose doesn't have to get as close to the wall as it would with regular wall push-ups.
I started with 25 wall push-ups a day, and added an additional push-up each day. After ten days of doing the exercise I am thrilled with the results.
My family members say they can definitely tell that my arms are more toned and muscular. I have also noticed that my abdomen is more toned - something I wasn't expecting.
I tried advancing to the intermediate level, but found that exercise too difficult, so I plan on sticking with the beginner level.
My eleven-year-old son was excited to try out the Push Up Pro. Initially he had difficulty trying to coordinate the rotating action while doing a push-up. But now he has gotten the hang of it and enjoys the exercise. He is able to do the intermediate level without too much trouble. He feels the exercise has definitely increased his arm strength.
My husband, who normally does seventy-five push-ups without the Push Up Pro, found that he was only able to do twenty-five advanced level push-ups using the Push Up Pro rotating grips. Instead of the Push Up Pro making push-ups easier, he found the rotating action actually makes it more difficult. He agrees with the claim that the Push Up Pro works more muscles than normal push-ups, and the rotating grips of the Push Up Pro provide an excellent upper body workout.
The small, light-weight design of the Push Up Pro makes it a convenient way to exercise either in a home, gym or when traveling.
Overall, Push Up Pro is a quality product that lives up to Jack Zatorski's claims of it being a great upper body workout for people of all ages. My family members all give Push Up Pro a thumbs up.
