With this system you will have the ability to monitor two areas with the included compact black and white cameras which boasts night vision capability. Also included with the purchase of the Q-See QSVOSB Security Observation System is a basic black and white 5.5" two channel display unit giving you a complete solution for your own do it yourself security surveillance system.
For under $70 at the time of this writing, you cannot beat the value the Q-See QSVOSB Security Observation System provides to its users. Installation and operation is a breeze with the provided instructions and the quality of the system seems to be good as well.
You can adapt your old VCR as a recording medium to catch any funny business going on in or around your property while you're absent from home. I can also see the further possibility of adapting the Q-See QSVOSB Security Observation System to a video capture device installed on your home personal computer in order to record video or give you access through the internet so you can monitor activities away from home.
With a little bit of ingenuity, the motivated consumer can create an elaborate system without a large monetary investment on their part. The system does not operate on wireless technology as some higher end models feature but the manufacturer does provide 60ft of cabling per camera to help ease the burden of wired installation.
The image quality is also not the best when compared to newer systems but the Q-See QSVOSB Security Observation System in my opinion provides a good balance in price and value for those wanting a solid home security camera solution. The night vision is a must have when it comes to monitoring your property as most home invasion crimes are committed at night under the cover of darkness.
I am very pleased with the power and performance of the Q-See QSVOSB Security Observation System and I highly recommend the product needing a basic platform for their home security needs. I have not had any issue when it comes to either the supplied cameras or display monitor and I am confident that the system will give me many good years of use.
