Review or R U Hungry Pizza in New Jersey

R U Hungry
Neighborhood: Beaver Ave
State College, PA 16801
United States of America
Its 2am. The bar you were just in called last call, then kicked you out for sneezing too hard and dropping your glass, shattering your newly bought double-whiskey and cola on to the hardwood floor that you were just awkwardly dancing on with probably the best looking girl you've ever set eyes on. The glass shatters, the bouncer comes and grabs your arm. You call out for the girl, who's name you can't remember, only to watch her boyfriend come and sweep her off of her feet.

Since you were just thrown out of the bar, where are you going to go? The all-night pizza place that you frequent has a line that curls around the block, and you're hungry now. Starving, in fact. And, if you don't get something in your stomach, the hangover you'll have in the morning will definitely deter you from writing that 10 page paper that's due the day after tomorrow, that you haven't even started. Then, walking down Beaver Ave, you see the bright white sign proclaiming loudly "R U HUNGRY?"

R U Hungry was founded by a young man who had been working in a sandwich place in New Jersey. While in this New Jersey sandwich diner, he created a sandwich he dubbed as a Fat sandwich, which contained various meats and fried foods. The sandwich became popular, and the man moved to a large college town.

The Fat Sandwiches are just as the name implies: Full of things that will make you fat. The Fat Bitch, for example, has mayo, ketchup, cheese steak, chicken fingers, and French fries. The calorie count is way off the scales, but the taste makes up for it. Remember: The Fat Bitch is only one of about a dozen Fat sandwiches that R U Hungry produces.

With all of the food options on the Fat sandwiches, they are naturally a bit pricey. A Fat Bitch costs approximately $6.50 plus tax. The price range goes from about $5.85 to $7.00 for the Fat sandwiches, while R U Hungry's other food items are a bit cheaper and taste just as good.

R U Hungry? typically stays open from lunch to 4am. While R U Hungry's food is delicious, it is definitely something that should not be eaten on a daily basis. That is, unless, you want to have an early heart attack. R U Hungry? should be saved for special occasions, or, drunken dinner.
