Now, after finding this bottle, I decided to stroll on through the shampoo and conditioner isle to see if maybe they recently had a surge in stock, and what I found was nothing, not a single remnant of anything Redken on the shelf. I guess I got lucky with my Blonde Glam Shampoo. I was hoping to scoop up the conditioner as well, but figured oh well, if the shampoo works good, I'd seek it out in salons or online.
Scent:
I don't know what people are being wowed over when it comes to Redken, but I know that it cannot have anything to do with the scent, as it is unoriginal, plain, and semi weak in that department. I hoped the hype was how it made hair look and feel, and I would have to test that out for myself to know what the big Redken deal was.
My Use:
The very first thing I noted about Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo was just how thick it was, coming out of the bottle was even semi difficult due to the watered down thick honey like texture it had going on.
Thick shampoo like this is rare to find for me, and I knew from past experience, that the thicker the better, it usually means I am getting a nice high quality product. Was that the case with Redken Blonde Glam though?
Lather was thick and also semi difficult to really work into the hair. I used a really big amount of the shampoo as well, and found that I had to squeeze a bit more into the hair in order to really get a good lather going on in my thick mop on top.
I let the shampoo sit for a few minutes, and rinsed.
This is where I became impressed with this one. The shampoo rinsed out like a dream, leaving my hair as soft and silky as it could get, and usually this sort of feeling only occurs after rinsing my hair of conditioner. I was very impressed with the fact that my hair felt conditioned, as if it needed none.
I was pretty confident that once I got out of the shower, and styled, my hair would be left feeling like heaven.
Results:
After just one use with Redken Blonde Glam, and I am a fan. I've already placed an order on the sister conditioner to see if it will go even further.
With Blonde Glam hair is left silky, smooth, and feeling so light, healthy and brand new. I would recommend this one to anyone, blonde's and brunette's alike.
