The quality of the food at Reflections Restaurant leaves buffets far behind. You will realize this from the white tablecloth on the table and the lemon water finger bowl for your use during the meal. When you are seated you are presented with heavenly stick honey rolls to enjoy while looking over the menu. The menu offers many options. I would highly recommend ordering and appetizer and then choosing one of the entrees that are served tableside at your table to impress your date or significant other.
There are eight appetizers on the menu. The one I would recommend highly is the Trio Chicken Satay. The trio includes peanut, sweet chili, and savory herb flavored chicken satay. Along with that appetizer and your sticky honey rolls, you should enjoy the salad. The salad is tossed tableside. The dressing on this salad is a sweet and savory honey poppy seed dressing. Can you sense a theme, you have sweet rolls and a sweet dressing. Don't worry though, the meal is not so sweet to overwhelm your senses.
As I said, the real reason to come to Reflections Restaurant is for the tableside preparation of your meal. You will have to order the Symphoni De La Mer or the Steak Diane to enjoy this special experience though. The Symphoni De La Mer includes shrimp, scallops, lobster, and mushrooms in a brandy cream sauce. If you are like me and aren't a big fan of cream sauces then the Steak Diane Flambe is a great choice with twin angus filets that are pan seared, deglazed in red wine and brandy, then covered with a dijon sauce and mushrooms. The Steak Diane Flambee also presents a show at your table with the flames as your server prepares it tableside.
Of course if you aren't a fan of tableside preparation there are options for you. The lobster tail is very good, though it is one of the more expensive items on the menu. The New York Strip is nicely seasoned and allows the quality of the steak itself to shine.
Don't worry about saving room for dessert, that is one area where Reflections Restaurant did not impress me, you can do just as well snacking on the boardwalk later that evening if you still have room after the wonderful meal you will have at Reflections Restaurant in Ocean City, Maryland.

- Tableside preparation of your meal is the real attraction here.
- Expect to spend $25-40 per person.
- The overall quality of the meal is very good, but the preparation is part of the evening.
