Synopsis of the New Release Children's Board Book Little Wyoming
Over the course of 20 pages, a series of ten riddles in rhyming form are featured focusing on ten of the state of Wyoming's biggest identifying features, such as bison, Devil's Tower, cattle, Old Faithful, etc. The riddle pages have the questions in the middle of the page, partially hiding the illustrations, while the answer pages have full illustrations that have a "semi-glossy, postcard-like" look and feel to them.
I recommend Little Wyoming because this book is especially geared for toddlers who are at an age to begin enjoying the world of books, as parents can read the riddles (which are not complicated but do have a poetic rhythm to them) and discuss the illustrations. This will help start their children on becoming more familiar with the states in America. For this product is part of "Little state board books" series which features other American states like Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas, according to the book's back cover. Because this is a children's board book, the pages are thick and sturdy. If a child pulls on the pages or tries to bend them, they'll hold up better than traditional book pages. This publication has a good feel in the hands, and its size isn't going to be intimidating to young children, for the book measures out to 4 15/16" high, 6 7/8" wide and 5/8" thick.
This children's board book is available at retail outlets like Amazon.com, and its Suggested Retail Price is $9.95. The ISBN Number of Little Wyoming is 1585365440. I was provided a copy of this children's board book Little Wyoming by Sleeping Bear Press, but was under no obligation to recommend it. My observations are my own.
