Review of Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron: Great Product, Great Price

You'll Be Amazed at What This Flat Iron Can Do, and it Costs Under $50

My hair has just enough body in it to do what I call "the ugly curl." You've seen those women who have a head full of beautiful loose natural curls, I'm envious of them. If I let me hair dry naturally, it will have curl in the bottom part of my hair but then the top half is straight, making for a very unfortunate looking hair style. On the opposite end are those woman who have naturally super straight hair. I'm envious of them too. But a few years back I received a CHI flat iron and I loved what it did to my hair. I was able to have super straight hair and it lasted all day. But to my dismay, my beloved CHI died. I just couldn't bring myself to fork out $120 for a flat iron. Then I saw a commercial for the Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron. This thing is amazing. Here are my top reasons why.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron provides long lasting frizz resistance.
This was the number one reason I purchased this particular flat iron. According to Remington's product testing, the Frizz Therapy flat iron provides humidity protection for up to 15 hours and users will see up to 65% less frizz when compared to other flat irons. Normally if it's a little damp outside, my hair will immediately frizz up. Any time I spent straightening my hair, even with the CHI, was a waste. But not with the Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron. It worked really well on my hair.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron costs less than $50.
Another big reason I bought the Remington flat iron was the low price. My daughter was skeptical about the quality when I told her about my great deal ($49.99 at Target). She was leery of a flat iron that was that cheap. Now, I don't think $50 is actually cheap - $19.99 would have been cheap - but compared to the CHI it was more than half the cost. Another huge plus for the Remington flat iron.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron has digital temperature controls.
This was a cool factor that I wasn't even aware of until I pulled the flat iron out of the box. The flat iron allows users to select one of three temperatures - 390, 410 or 430 - for best results. I chose the highest temperature but could have easily selected one of the lower temperatures with the same great results.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron heats up quick.
A wonderful feature about the Remington flat iron is how quickly it heats up. I usually like that extra five minutes of sleep, so anything that makes my morning routine go faster is a bonus in my book. This flat iron has 30 second instant heat.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron has ceramic plates that glide.
Considered the "next generation" of ceramic plates (special porous properties with frizz resistant micro conditioners), the Remington flat iron glides smoothly over your hair. I've tried several flat irons and I've never had one glide as smooth as this one while making hair straight and sleek.

Remington Frizz Therapy Flat Iron is a great alternative to the higher priced ($100 to $200) salon-style flat irons. Many retailers sell the product for under $50 but with a little searching, I'm sure you can find it closer to $40.

I just got a new flat iron. I'm a cheap skate, I paid 19.99 it works ok for my thin short hair. I might have to break down and spend more next time.

I have natural curly hair, and my flat iron is on it's last leg! I will definetly look out for this one. :) P.S. A little jojoba on the ends will help with frizzyness. :)
