As with most steakhouses, you will find the most popular cuts of steak such as the filet minion, t-bone steak, ribeye steak, and the porterhouse just to name a few. However, there is also a good mix of other dishes to choose from, as well. The Veal Chop with Sweet & Hot Peppers is one of the non-steak top sellers. This dish is a veal chop that is marinated in vinegar, peppers, garlic, and onions and then broiled and served with the mixture of sweet and hot peppers. Another favorite is the Ahi-Tuna Stack. This entrée is a piece of rare Ahi Tuna that is topped with lump crabmeat served sizzling, hot with a red pepper pesto. One of their most popular desserts is the Caramelized Banana Cream Pie. This sweet takes white chocolate banana custard and tops it with caramelized bananas. This has to be one of the best and richest desserts I have ever experienced.
For vegetarians, as expected there are not many choices at a steakhouse. One option is the Grilled Portobello Mushrooms. This vegan dish places Marinated Portobello mushrooms on top of garlic mashed potatoes, and is served with grilled asparagus, broccoli, tomatoes, and a sizzling lemon butter sauce. The only other option would be one of the countless salads that the establishment's offer.
Ruth's Chris has a massive wine list, which includes endless red, white, and sparkling wines. They also serve several mixed drinks. The Wild Berry Splash is Appleton White Rum, Fresh Lime Juice, and Wild Berries mixed with simple syrup and a hint of mint. The menu also includes several different versions of the Cuban drink the Mojito. The Classic Mojito is Bacardi White Rum, fresh mint and sugar and fresh lime juice. Mojitos come in the Classic, Basil Strawberry, or Orange Citrus.
Price ranges for the appetizers, sides, and desserts average about $8. Prices for the main dishes range from about $20-$80. Valet parking is available as well as free self-parking. All items are available as take out items. However, it is very much worth it to go into the restaurant and enjoy the great service. The dress code for each Ruth's Chris Steakhouse varies from location to location. However, this location has a business casual dress code and jackets are not required for men. Reservations are not required, but to avoid a wait of up to one hour on weekend nights for a party of four, reservations can easily be made online or by calling the restaurant directly.
This restaurant is not a suggested spot to take your children. There is no children's menu available. Thus, the kids will end up eating a meal as expanse and expensive as the adults. Nothing states that they do not serve children, but if you take them, you may be the only ones with little ones.
The restaurant is located at International Center II, 920 2nd Avenues S., Suite 100, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55402. Their phone numbers is 612.672.9000. Their hours are Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday 5 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., and Sunday 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
For a group of steakhouses that are not one single location, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse does a good job of taking care of their customers. For the staff, it is as if they read your mind and you almost never have to ask for anything. Visit this establishment if you want to impress your friends or family.
