Review of Seacret Body Lotion

The Secret is from the Dead Sea!

In almost every mall, you will find this product being sold at a kiosk. The product is called SEACRET. You can also find these products at an online store or even sold on ebay. They sell a multitude of products but I am reviewing only their body lotion.

The lotion scent I purchased was Cucumber & Melon. It smells nice to me. It was given to me so I could test it on my hand. Although this is a body lotion, I use it on my hands. They do sell hand creams also but I am only reviewing the body lotion used only on hands.

When you apply this product, there is no need to use a lot. Rub your hands together for complete coverage. In less than 30 seconds, the lotion no longer feels wet and greasy. It feels soft and supple. The best part is, you can pickup items without them slipping out of your hands. Other lotions make my hands feel dirty almost as if the dirt and dust was attracted to the lotion. With the Seacret body lotion, my hands never feel dirty with sticky residue.

My significant other has also made a compliment about the smoothness of my hands after using this product. I highly recommend this item to anyone who likes lotion but dislikes the stickiness that comes with most lotions. If your significant other can compliment you without asking them their thoughts, you know it's good!

Seacret body lotion has Dead Sea Salts, Vitamin A & E, Jojoba Oil, Wheat Germ Oil and Avocado Oil.

Now let's review the cost. The price is dependant on where you purchase this product. Retail it is just under $20.00 for a 6.8 fl oz tube. Personally, this is costly but also the best I've tried so far. If you have to pay that price, I'd say it is worth it. Remember if the employee at the mall kiosk lures you in, listen to their testimony then say no and they will lower the price. They don't have set prices. Say no again and they'll lower it some more or they might do a two for one deal. These people want your sale and will offer to lower the price to get the sale.

I highly recommend this product and give it two thumbs up.

For the lotions, salt is way down on the list of ingredients. Oh, the trace minerals are so minor that they would never do anything, but again, your body will not absorb them anyway. The only clear answer I got when talking to the pushy broad hawking this stuff is there is no FDA approved clinical study showing the stuff does anything!

Salts were used by teh Egyptians to mummify people, so much for moisturizers! Salt isn't absorbed into your skin. In fact, salt is excreted by the skin as part of sweat because your body doesn't need it. Even if you (falsely) believe you do absorb salt through your skin, most everybody eats too much salt already. If you want to soak in salt, buy a box of sea salt at the grocery store and soak in your tub. More proof that salt attracts moisture, table salt has sodium silicate added to help it not clump up; your box of natural sea salt likely has lumps in it. Save your money, buy regular lotion at the department stores.

I normally avoid these salesmen like the plague, but got sucked in last weekend spending over $300 at the saleman's "cost.". This was with the supposed freebies and discounts. Once he had my credit card in hand for item #1 & would not give it back, he kept up the high-pressure sales pitch until out of I finally agreed to purchase just to escape....the products are full of toxic chemicals like propylene glycol, butylene glycol, methyparaben - all known carcinogenic substances from petroleum. That's why your skin feels some smooth after application. I plan to take mall security with me for my refund this weekend.

when x-mas shopping in a rush, i got caught by one of the mall kiosk, i figured since he wasn't shutting up when i declined, and he kept seeming like he would give me a better deal, and the next better then that, if i bought something he would shut up and let me go. DIDN'T HAPPEN. NE ways the deal i agreed to was 3 of the nail kits, 2 of the scrubs, and 2 of the lotions for a total of $109. Later when showing off my "great deals" to my husband, i looked back at my receipt, THE JERK CHARGED ME $220. WAY MORE THEN WHAT HE TOLD ME, AND MORE THEN WE AGREED UPON! not to mention, way more then what i would have been charged ANYWHERE else i would have gone to buy x-mas presents.

Their product may be good, but their salesman are subpar- a Seacret Spa employee actually went up to my mom and sexually harassed her by making comments about her breasts:

Just today I sat at the kiosk and the salesperson demonstrated the facial mud, eye gel, and face cream. I have rosacea so was very interested. However the price quoted was outrageous and I told him there was no way I could afford it. Ended up going back and forth, finally I got both the mud and face lotion for $100, well below what was online. Used the both when I got home, extremely pleased with the results after just one use. I believe I am hooked!

I purchased all of their facial products from a kiosk in the mall. These products irritated my face & I broke out with lots of pus filled bumps. Now I have lots of scars (as I am a woman of color). I will have to spend more $$ on fading/bleaching cream and coverup makeup. I am so hurt & depressed because of the scars on my face. Everytime I look in the mirror, I cry. Women of color - DO NOT buy their facial products.

I never believed in the kiosk shopping products.

I saw the salesman walking towards me as I was about to pass by, and he lured me in. I always did have a problem with my nails, so I gave it a try, and boom! I was hooked. The salesman pitched the price as 70 bucks a box, and I told I couldn't afford it. He seemed a bit desperate after that, and gave me another box for free. Even more tempted! But, I was completely honest when I said I couldn't afford it.
So my boyfriend steps in and offers to buy it for me as a Christmas present. I was still hesitant since the salesman was so eager to give me a free box, so he offered to give us another box for 15 dollars. My boyfriend ended up paying 95 dollars for three boxes, and seeing the prices online, well, I don't feel so ripped off anymore.

Either way, the product works wonders, I love the shine on my nails!

ABSOLUTE rip off!!!!! The kiosk in Topanga Canyon Mall, CA charged my girlfriend and i each, well over the online price. We are FURIOUS. I personally paid $100.00 over the online price. This company must be exposed to protect the consumer from these con men and women. No matter if the product is good or not, over charging the consumer is unacceptable, especially when the company site claims they swear by the truth. Incidentally these products are NOT pure which can be discovered by reading the ingredients. The sales girl lied.
