Working on drywall projects, especially the finishing aspect can create hard to clean up situations when it comes to dust and water. The problem with using conventional upright vacuums, in my opinion, is the tendency for the machine to blow out the fine dust and other particles out from the sides which completely defeat the purpose of what I'm trying to achieve after my projects are completed.
It was time for me to seek out a better alternative when it came to the clean up process and while shopping for my first wet/dry vacuum, I happened upon the Shop-Vac 962-06-00 6-Gallon 3-Horsepower Ultra Plus Wet/Dry Vacuum at my local home improvement store. The most impressive attribute of this mighty machine has to be its power rating. This particular model boasts up to 3 horse power and is made from durable long lasting material.
The Shop-Vac 962-06-00 6-Gallon 3-Horsepower Ultra Plus Wet/Dry Vacuum comes bundled with all the tools and attachments you will need to tackle the most difficult cleanup scenarios. With a 12 foot power cord and rolling castors, the Shop-Vac 962-06-00 6-Gallon 3-Horsepower Ultra Plus Wet/Dry Vacuum is easy to maneuver. The storage compartment for all the accessories you may need is also a great feature for those who have a tendency to loose vacuum cleaner attachments.
The operation of this mean cleaning machine happens to be quieter than expected and more recently, I had to put the Shop-Vac 962-06-00 6-Gallon 3-Horsepower Ultra Plus Wet/Dry Vacuum to the test when it came to a water logged area of my garage after a storm. I was extremely pleased to see that it performed flawlessly when it came to sucking up every ounce of unwanted water. Disposal of the collected dirt and water was a snap and less messy than any other wet/dry vacuum I have ever used.
I am confident so far that this machine will handle any cleanup job I can throw at it and with three year manufactures warranty I won't be afraid to try. It is a little smaller than comparable wet/dry vacuums with the same power rating which allows for easy storage. So far, I am completely satisfied with the product and for the price, I would suggest the Shop-Vac 962-06-00 6-Gallon 3-Horsepower Ultra Plus Wet/Dry Vacuum to anyone needing more cleaning power on the job, in the home or in the garage.
