This resort is over 22 acres of land. This land is lush and beautiful and has a rustic kind of woodsy feel to it. They offer a lot of activities for these if you who enjoy the outdoors! They have bikes that you can rent and you travel along the trails and enjoy the scenery. There are pools to just sit back relax and read a magazine while reclining on one of their fancy pool chairs.
Solage Calistoga Resort really cares about the environment because they hang on to some really strong green initiatives. They are really big on recycling, organic produce and composting. They could probably teach all about living green!
You are probably wondering what the rooms are all about at the Solage Calistoga. There are 89 guest rooms and suites. What I really like about this place is that all the rooms don't look exactly the same. There are five different layouts that you can choose from!
All of the rooms have private patios that you can have nice candlelit dinners or just hang out and read a good book. The décor of the rooms are really nice to because you don't feel like you are at some hotel. You feel more like you are at home or at a bed and breakfast. The décor is really crisp and airy. The furnishings look more like high class home furniture more than typical hotel furnishings.
The more expensive rooms have fireplaces, telescopes and soaking tubs! I think I am pretty much sold on the fact that there are soaking tubs! There are also private outdoor hot tubs for you to enjoy as well!
As you can probably imagine this is not a cheap place to stay at. If you are going to stay here you are really going to have to pay for it! Their lowest rates begin at $325!
If you want you never have leave the premise for food. They have an awesome bistro style solibar the serves and breakfast lunch and dinner. So, you are really set as far as food goes. I mean if you are going to be paying at least $325 a night food should be included!
