Review of the Spotted Owl Cafe

The Spotted Owl Cafe is located at 56 West Main Street in downtown Logan, Ohio. The Spotted Owl is a relatively new cafe in Logan that has been open for just a few years. A charming intimate atmosphere, gorgeously decorated featuring delicious food at great prices. You are sure to fall in love with The Spotted Owl Cafe.

The Spotted Owl Cafe is open from 7 am to 9 pm Monday thru Saturday. On Sunday the hours are 9 am to 5 pm. The Spotted Owl offers an open mic night for locals to share their talents. A beautiful indoor waterfall is on display complete with fish to add to the serene setting.

For breakfast you will find traditional foods like bagels, oatmeal and cinnamon rolls, muffins, "waff owls", sausage gravy and cheese biscuits to name a few. All breakfast items are priced at a bargain price of less than four dollars.

The lunch/ dinner menu includes salads, soups, hummus, wraps and Panini sandwiches. Additionally The Spotted Owl serves certified Angus hot dogs. If you can finish the Monster Certified Angus Hot Dog The Spotted Owl Cafe will offer you dessert on the house.

The Spotted Owl offers an assortment of specialty teas and coffees like chai lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and chocolate owls, and espresso. Frost Top Root beer is available on tap. The Spotted Owl carries unique specialty sodas, Hocking Hills and Rockhouse bottled water and fantastic milkshakes also. Fresh baked cookies and biscotti are available for dessert as well as ice cream.

All sandwiches and wraps come with lettuce, tomato, chips and a pickle. I would recommend the Hummus Platter, The Taco Wrap and the chocolate owl or a chocolate milkshake. This is a great place for a quiet meal with a friend. It's also a lovely place to stop by with a book for some quiet reading and great coffee. When in the Hocking Hills be sure to stop in and check out this hidden treasure.

Everything is delicious at The Spotted Owl, nothing on the menu is priced over seven dollars. It is absolutely a gorgeous café. I would recommend The Spotted Owl Cafe to anyone who is in the Logan area who is seeking a dining experience that does not involve hamburgers or French fries! You will not be disappointed by your visit to the Spotted Owl Café. You can enjoy seasonal outdoor tables, which offer a great opportunity to experience downtown Logan. After your meal you can enjoy beautiful Worthington Park. Worthington Park is just down the street from the Spotted Owl Cafe. Logan is a peaceful town you are sure to enjoy peaceful afternoon in the city park where seasonally a farmers market is held
