I recently used the new St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Body Scrub and I am so happy with how well it exfoliated the dead skin from my body while adding brightness to it naturally. I even loved the natural ingredients in it that helped nourish my skin and body as it scrubbed away the dead skin cells when I used it. The body scrub is so cleansing and invigorating to use and I would recommend to any male or female to use when looking for an excellent natural body care product to use for exfoliating skin naturally.
The St. Ives Naturally Clean Green Tea Body Scrub is deep greenish in color with white speckles throughout and a gritty texture that isn't to abrasive on the skin. The natural ingredients in this exfoliating scrub that help scrub away the dead flaky skin from the body are olive leaf extracts, willow herb, brown algae, alteromonas extracts, yeast extract, green tea, coconut and salicylic acid. These ingredients not only helped exfoliate my skin, but they also helped treat my acne breakouts on my neck and shoulders naturally and cleared the acne up nicely within a week of using the scrub. However, there are some unnatural ingredients in the scrub such as the sulfates and colorings for those of you worried about what is in your beauty care products. To me a few unnatural ingredients are okay, but if there were many in these body care product I probably wouldn't use it.
The way I used the scrub this past week was by getting into the shower and washing up like I usually do with warm water and my creamy body wash to help cleanse the skin and body well. Then I squeezed ΒΌ cup of the green tea body scrub onto my bath sponge, rubbed the scrub all over my body using circular motions for about 5 minutes to really help exfoliate and after I simply washed off with warm water. The scrub is gently; yet effective with a pleasant refreshing herbal scent to it that isn't too strong at all so you don't have to worry about sneezing when using this body care product, or having some kind of allergic reactions if you are sensitive to fragrances. The scrub does rinse of well without leaving residue behind on my skin, which made me so happy. However, my skin was a bit dry so I did have to use body lotion to help moisturize my skin after using it, but overall my skin was silky soft, clean and smooth after using the scrub.
Overall, I found the St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Body scrub to be affordable and of high quality and would definitely use it again to help exfoliate my skin in the future. For those of you who decide to give this natural green tea body scrub a try I hope you enjoy the way it exfoliated your skin and body too.
