Stouffer's French Bread Pizza with Grilled Vegetables Tastes Great

If you haven't tried Stouffer's line of French bread pizzas, you definitely need to go to your local grocer and try some. Stouffer's grilled vegetable French bread pizza, available in the frozen section for under $3, offers 2 slices (2 servings) of crispy French bread topped with a delicious marinara sauce and traditional pizza toppings. The grilled vegetable French bread pizza from Stouffer's delivers red onions, red peppers, yellow peppers, and zucchini on a bed of mozzarella cheese.

Preparation

There are 3 ways to cook Stouffer's French bread pizza with grilled vegetables: in only a conventional oven, or a conventional oven with a microwave thaw, or in a toaster oven.

Conventional Oven-Only Directions

After preheating your conventional oven to 325 degrees, remove your pizza from its plastic bag and place the pizza onto a cookie sheet. Place the cookie sheet onto the middle rack and then let the pizza cook for 35 minutes. Remove the pizza from the oven after it has finished cooking.

Conventional Oven & Microwave Oven Directions

Start preheating your conventional oven to 475 degrees. Meanwhile, remove your pizza from its plastic bag and place the pizza onto a microwave-safe plate. Place the pizza on the plate into your microwave oven and thaw the pizza on HIGH power for 1-1/2 minutes for one pizza or 2-1/2 minutes if you're thawing both pizzas at once.

Once you have finished thawing the pizza in the microwave and your conventional oven has reached 475 degrees, place your pizza onto a baking sheet. Cook the pizza for about 6 to 7 minutes in your conventional oven. After the pizza has finished cooking in the conventional oven, you can enjoy your pizza!

Toaster Oven-Only Directions

Preheat your toaster oven to 350 degrees. Once it has preheated, take your pizza out of its plastic bag and place your pizza onto a cookie sheet and cook for 35 minutes on the middle rack. After your pizza has cooked for 35 minutes, it's ready to be eaten.

Flavor

I've become quite the fan of Stouffer's line of French bread pizzas. I saw the grilled vegetable French bread pizza at my local grocer and knew I had to give it a try. Wow. Good eats.

The French bread is soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. The sauce is good (not the greatest, but it definitely complements the toppings and the bread well). The combination of vegetables provides a dynamic flavor that is pleasantly mellow and juicy. The cheese brings the whole pizza together in a delicious way.

Nutrition

Stouffer's grilled vegetable French bread pizza is a tasty meal or snack that isn't too difficult on the diet, either.

The only issue some may have is the fat content, which is a tad on the high side if you're carefully watching your fat intake.
