Suave Dry Shampoo is an aerosol spray that claims to clean your hair between shampoos by absorbing oil and leaving behind a lovely scent. The idea behind the dry shampoo is that it's quick and easy, and you won't have to re-style your hair. Sounds like a dream, right?
The promise that Suave Dry Shampoo would cut down on the time I spend getting ready for work really appealed to me. My hair can best be described as unruly. It takes 20-30 minutes for me to wash and condition it because it's so snarly. Then it takes 25-40 minutes for me to dry and flat-iron it because it's so wild and frizzy. So on an average morning I spend 45 minutes to an hour fixing my hair. And it's not because I'm that vain. It's because my hair is that uncontrollable.
Once my hair looks half-way decent, I've often wished I could leave it that way for a few days. But my scalp gets greasy overnight, so even if my hair still looks alright the next morning, I need to wash the oil off my scalp. Then the whole 45-60 minute process starts all over again. Frankly, I'm getting old, and so is this hair care routine.
Right after I saw the ad for Suave Dry Shampoo, I made a special trip to Walgreen's to get some. I paid $3 for a can, although I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. The next morning I used Suave Dry Shampoo instead of my regular shampoo and conditioner routine in the shower. I was absolutely amazed at the results!
Suave Dry Shampoo did absorb the oils on my scalp! And my hair still looked good. Instead of spending significant time on my hair, I was able to spray it, brush it, and spend about two minutes touching it up with a flat-iron. It's like a miracle! Suave Dry Shampoo has a grapefruit-y scent, which is not my favorite scent, but for these results and the time it saves, I can totally live with it. I tried using the dry shampoo two days in a row, and that didn't work for me, but the fact that I can cut my hair care time in half every week is amazing. I will definitely buy it again, use it regularly and recommend it to others. On a scale of 1-10, I give Suave Dry Shampoo a 10.

Awesome! I'd seen this advertised and wondered if it really worked. Like you, I find hair up-keep to be a big pain. I'll definitely be trying this. Thanks!
