Texture and Appearance
The texture of the Wheat Thins Sundried Tomato and Basil crackers are exactly like the original Wheat Thin. They are crisp and crunchy. By looking at the Wheat Thin you can tell right away there will be a lot of flavor. They are generously covered with tomato powder, basil, spices, and a hint of sundried tomatoes. Be prepared to lick your fingers, because grabbing a cracker speckles your fingers with the spices.
Flavor
I was pleasantly surprised with the bold blast of Italian flavor. Right away you taste the tomato and basil with a hint of garlic and bell pepper. The boldest flavor is tomato and basil. If you like your snack crackers to have a punch of flavor, you will not be disappointed. I prefer a strong flavor when it comes to chips or crackers. The Wheat Thins Sundried Tomato and Basil crackers definitely fit the bill. They are not for a pallet that enjoys a light taste. The adults in my family loved the flavor, while the kids did not. They are definitely more of a snack for adults.
Serving Size
The serving size for the Wheat Thins Sundried Tomato and Basil crackers are 15 crackers. I found that to be a good amount for an afternoon snack. I generally would not find myself eating much more than that.

Overall Recommendation
I loved the Wheat Thins Sundried Tomato and Basil crackers. I definitely will be adding them to my grocery shopping list. If you love a bold Italian flavor you will enjoy them too. If you enjoy more of a lightly flavored cracker, then the Wheat Thins Sundried Tomato and Basil crackers would not be a good choice for you. They have a strong bold taste. They make a great afternoon snack. While the flavor is awesome, they do leave spices and powder on your fingers. They are truly finger licking good!
