Review of Supreme Garment Rack and Canvas Cover

My husband and I needed closets. Our home did not have closets readily available to us at the time, and after trying another brand of stand alone storage closet, we were left having to find a better solution. We happened upon the Supreme Garment Rack and decided to give it a try. So far we have been very impressed.

We paid approximately $70.00 for each unit, and while at the store decided to go in for the extra $10.00 and buy the canvas cover as well. The box was a bit heavy, and we liked the picture on the box, so we figured so far so good. We got the closet home and started the assembly process.

I had to clear out a large space to get all of the product out of the box. It did not come fully assembled, of course, so I had to figure it out on my own. I was helped a lot by the convenient instruction guide that came with it. Each piece is labeled and because the instructions were easy to read I had the whole closet put together in twenty minutes.

The poles that make up the skeleton of the Supreme Garment Rack and the rod for hanging are made from a sturdy metal. It is a nice looking shiny silver, with decorative rings or bands on each pole. It is quite aesthetic as far as stand alone bare bones closets go. The only plastic pieces on the entire closet are the casters located at the bottom. This is sturdy plastic, however, and hold up very nicely. I like that the closet comes with these wheels, because due to its weight it makes it much easier to move the closet from one place to another.

A sturdy metal decorative rack is located on the top and bottom of the closet, which is not only attractive, but useful. Items can be stored on top of the closet easily without worry of the closet breaking down. I keep a large box of shoes on the bottom rack and it hasn't bent at all.

The canvas cover (as I have mentioned this piece is sold separately) was very easy to put on. I don't remember if it came with instructions or not because I didn't need them. It simply caped over the whole ensemble and then tied to the individual poles to keep it in place. Unlike most covers, this one did not come with zippers or Velcro that can break making it useless, or get bits of things stuck in them to make it look dirty. Instead, the Supreme Canvas Cover uses buttons and tie backs. It is also made of thick canvas that holds up well, and the cream color goes with any decor, and even makes the room a little brighter. The button placement is not only useful, but also adds a bit of color to the piece to give it decorative touch.

I've had my Supreme Garment Rack and its matching Canvas Cover now for approximately a year and a half. I have had no issues whatsoever with it. I believe that it is a very nice product, and highly recommend it.
