While, the salesperson did tell me that I would have service at home they did not tell me that I would not have much of a signal inside of my home. There is a tower that is a mere five miles from my house and yet, I never get more than two bars for my signal.
It wasn't long before I realized that I would need a new carrier. There I was stuck with a cell service that didn't work where I need it to work.
About a month into my service I was talking on my cell phone when I heard a loud "POP" come from the phone. As I looked at it, I discovered that the window on the front of my phone had cracked for no obvious reason. I was not holding the phone by the cover nor was any pressure being applied to that area. I took into a T-mobile dealer only to be told, I must have broken it myself. My phone was not replaced but I was told I could get a good discount on one if I wanted to extend my service for an additional two years.
I found a use for my T-mobile service and decided to simply use it for my internet connection. While the telephone signal did not work very well, it was great for internet connection in a place that only dial up is allowed and for travel.
I was perfectly happy with the service. I used another carrier for my phone service and T-mobile for my internet. Unfortunately, even that became a problem recently. I require internet service in order to make a living.
It seems there was a large service outage in my state recently and I found myself without any kind of signal for almost five days. While the outage was supposedly taken care of within twenty four hours, I still did not have any kind of service. I contacted T-mobile and a trouble ticket was put in. Somebody was supposed to contact me within seventy two hours. Nobody ever contacted me, so I called back. I was able to get service in some places but not many and I was told I needed a new card in my phone. I went and got a new card. That did not help. Then I was told I needed a new phone. Of course the new phone with come with a cost of a hundred dollars or more or an extension of my contract. I was seriously considering a new phone. Finally, without explanation, apology or anything else, my service returned. There was nothing wrong with the phone there had been a problem with the tower I would discover by making another call to T-mobile. My contract ends in February and my new carrier also offers internet at much higher speed than T-mobile. I will not be renewing my contract.

Post a CommentI was told that I could go on to the cheapest tarrif when the six n month half price deal finished unfortunately they did not tell me that it has to be in stages I feel tricked as I do not use a mobile phone a great deal more to keep in touch for safety reasons, and my bill this month was £50 when my usage is probably about £15
