Original, Sensual, and a compelling romance.

Gaverael McIllioch, better known as Grimm, was born with a gift or in his eyes, a curse. He's a Berserker. A legendary warrior with the heart of a beast. In the throws of his gift he has the strength and skill to take on a dozen warriors single handed and little or nothing can stop him. Yet, for years, he has run. Not from men, though another clan has done their best to wipe him and his people out, but rather from the face of a woman.

Jillian St. Clair has the ability to tame the beast within him, to calm the storm and walk at his side, if he will but take the risk of opening his heart to her. She's loved him since she found him as a child, wandering, dirty, wild and unkempt. Yet for years they have remained apart, out of Grimm's fear that she would never accept who or what he was. And the danger he feared he would bring down on her family of those hunting him tracked him down again.

To Tame a Highland Warrior is a unique and well written tale of passion, danger, and the beast that lives within the hearts of many. Our own fears often prevent us from being willing to take the path that is best for us. But love can over come those fears if we are able to see clearly.

Ms. Moning is a talented writer. Her ability to set the scene, and create powerful, well written characters that leap off the page, grab the reader by the throat and demand 'Hey, read me now' is one that many authors would give their right arm to be able to claim. Her characters, despite their all too inhuman traits, are believable.

To Tame a Highland Warrior is a book I would strongly recommend to those who like their Highland Romances laced with a touch of the paranormal, and intense, passionate scenes between the primary characters. Scenes well written yet done in such a way that the reader never once is left feeling uncomfortable.

I'd give this book a well deserved five star rating and I will be adding further books by Ms. Moning to my collection.
