Review of New Target Store at Springfield Mall in Springfield, PA 19064

If you live in Springfield Pa 19064, you may be wondering why Target has opened a second store only ten minutes up the street from the current store. Target Corporation assured the township that both stores would remain open and that they had no plans to close the second store. The old Target store is located at: 857 Baltimore Pike in Springfield. The new Target store is located at: 1200 Baltimore Pike in Springfield. The new store is located in the Springfield mall and is one of the two large department stores in the mall. I absolutely love the new Target store, and I prefer it to the old store. I am going to review some of the new things you should check out in the Springfield Mall Target store location!

The new Target store in Springfield mall features a different layout than the old Target store. For example, if you try to push a shopping cart out into the mall, you can't. The carts are smart carts and the wheels lock the minute you push them over the threshold of the store into the mall. You will notice that many of the departments are reversed which can create a bit of confusion if you do not shop the same store each week. The new store features a Starbucks coffee shop on the first floor. I love that you can get a latte and browse the Target store all in one place! The new Target store now contains the portrait studio and the portrait studio in the old store at 857 Baltimore Pike is no longer there.

The new Target store features a large grocery section. You can find mostly everything you need to cook dinner or bake. It is also a great place to pick up a snack for the kids, or grab that gallon of milk you need. The store also offers a pharmacy and photo printing center. One of the things I like the best about the new Target store is their large customer service area. It makes it very easy to accommodate returns and questions.

Another feature of the Target store that is awesome is the ability to checkout on each of the two floors. Each floor has an ample amount of registers for you to pay for your purchases quickly. The old Target store in Springfield does allow you to check out on both floors, but the bottom floor only has four registers which mean the lines can get really long. If you want to get in and out fast, the new Target is your best bet!

The new Target store in Springfield mall now makes your mall trips easier. You can do your mall shopping and stop in Target to get the milk, or pick up some cleaning supplies. In addition to the everyday basics, Target offers some nice moderately priced designer items, so it's not a plan place to shop for fashion either.
