Review of the the Sager NP5791 Notebook

The Sager Company is not a well known name in the global world of notebooks. The introduction of the Sager NP5791 notebook has proven that the company has the technical know-how to manufacture a device that is adequate in standard. The Sager NP5791 notebook is equipped with a screen that is 17 inches and has a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The screen of the device is equipped with a glossy finish, which is quite handy and high performing. Other features found in the device are Nvidia GeForce 8700M-GT with 512MB GDDR3 memory, 80GB 7200RPM SATA HDD and many more. The device is equipped with a high performing processor that is capable of playing high level games and other graphical applications

The screen of the Sager NP5791 is equipped with a size of 17 inch that has a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. A procurer should note that the device is equipped with two screens, which include a glossy and a matte finish. The glossy finish is equipped with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels while the matte finish is equipped with a resolution of 1680x1050 pixels. A procurer would derive great benefit using the screen of the device to watch movies, games and many more. The contrast and brightness of the screen are above average. The device is quite impressive is the sense that the screen has a nice and adequate horizontal and vertical viewing angles. The Sager equipped the NP5791 notebook with a full size keyboard that would be very handy for typing. One benefit of the keyboard featured in the device is that it is equipped with a numeric pad. The keyboard does not feature any degree of flex.

A procurer should note that the keyboard equipped in the NP5791 notebook does not features any dedicated keys for page down, page up and others. A procurer would have to use the function key in order to use this dedicated functions. The 1, 3, 7 and 9 keys featured in the keyboard are used for the end, page down, home and page up keys correspondingly.

The Sager NP5791 notebook is equipped with a lot of functional and handy port that are standard in a notebook. The right side of the device is equipped with a Ethernet, Coaxial connection, speaker, Memory card reader, 2x USB 2.0 and many more, while the left side of the device features the speaker, optical drive and the Kensington security lock slot. The front of the Sager NP5791 notebook plays host to the microphone jack, headphone jack, Line in, status lights and the SPDIF while the rear of the device is equipped with a Vents, S-video out, DVI-D, power connection, Serial port.

The Intel 4965AGN supporting 802.11a, b, g, and n wireless formats is supported by the Sager NP5791 notebook. The device also featured an internal wireless Bluetooth.

An 8-cell battery supplies power to the Sager NP5791 notebook. The battery is quite handy and highly performing. If a procurer used the device to surf the web, reading emails and play games the battery life would be able to stay for about 160 minutes.

32 bit Vista Ultimate and Window Vista is the software that accompanies the device.
