Review: Three Brothers Italian Restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland
Three Brothers Italian Restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland Proves Italian Restaurants Can Be Affordable
Three Brothers Italian Restaurant will never be confused with fine dining. The Italian selections are general comfort foods including pasta dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, sausage and peppers, and various subs and stromboli type entrees. Three Brothers Italian Restaurant also has very good pizza and serves large slices for $2 each. What might surprise you is that their buffalo wings are some of the best I have had.
On this past Saturday night at Three Brothers Italian Restaurant, I wasn't looking for wings though. I was interested in the Italian Boat. The Italian Boat is their name for a stromboli type of meat filled dough. It is about a foot long and filled with mozzarella cheese, sausage, onions, peppers, and muschrooms. It also comes with two sides of sauce for you to top the Italian Boat with to you taste. It is one of my favorite comfort foods from Three Brothers Italian Restaurant, and is only $8 which is a bargain. Many other lower quality Italian restaurants in the area charge close to $12 for smaller portions of a similar type of stromboli.
My wife was in the mood for a pizza cheese steak on this night. She was very happy with her choice as the steak was lean and not very greasy. The sauce she said was tasty without being overpowering. The sub was about 10 inches for $7 at Three Brothers Italian Restaurant, which is a relative bargain these days for a sub, especially at a restaurant. We were both very surprised by the quality of the chicken nuggets and french fries our son had for just $4 for a kids meal. The only complaint was the nuggets came out extremely hot. After they cooled off though our son devoured them. There were enough fries he shared some with my wife and myself and they were nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside.
Overall, the meal for the three of us at Three Brothers Italian Restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland cost $24 including beverages. It is hard to feed a family of three for that price these days. It's even more impressive when the food is the high quality like the food was at Three Brothers Italian Restaurant in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
