I had never thought or heard of someone making salsa without adding tomato's but Trader Joe's has and they came up with a product that did just that. This Corn and Chile Salsa is so good you'll never want to switch back to the Tomato salsa again.
We tried this because it was colorful and we had been told by a niece in the family that it was really good. It gives you a sweet taste in your mouth with a hint of heat from the jalapenos they put in the jar. They take corn and red bell peppers and then onions and a touch of vinegar and then some spices and you get this product.
We enjoy this salsa with our tortilla chips or you can serve this salsa with your favorite crackers. This product also goes along well with any of my Mexican dishes my family enjoys. We serve this salsa with my burritos, enchiladas, and rice dishes.
Another way to enjoy this product is to add it to your taco's for a different texture and flavor. It's also great with Collard Greens on the side and a piece of corn bread. This is very good and you'll have allot of compliments when you serve this at gatherings and parties.
This amazing product has absolutely no saturated fat inside. There is also no total fat as well as no fat calories. You can have 4 teaspoons per serving size and with that you'll get 45 calories. That's not bad at all for a food that taste as good as this one does.
If you are concerned with watching your cholesterol, don't fret because this product has none inside. The sodium content is low at 95 milligrams and 10 grams of total carbohydrates. This salsa has 6 grams of sugar inside and 1 gram of fiber and one gram of protein.
There are no artificial flavors or colors in this product and no added preservatives. Trader Joe's always carry great products that allot of people may not have tried before. They don't have to worry about carrying sales in their store because they offer it's consumers a low price on all their items.
If you would like more information about this Corn and Chile Salsa then log onto www.traderjoes.com and read about this and other products they have. You can also check on a location near you.
I highly recommend you try this salsa because my family no longer desires to eat the tomato salsa after trying this one.
