My husband and I were excited but also a little weary as we both were very afraid of flying. We arrived plenty early for our early morning flight. To our surprise upon our arrival we found that the tickets that we had for the past three months had been changed on us. They separated us and put us on completely different ends of the plane. We were both irate. We had this planned with plenty of time and find that we got bumped. After plenty of arguing they finally arranged and fixed the seating for our trip to Hawaii. The trip was fine to Hawaii was great, very long but the plains were nice and the stewardesses were prompt with or beverages and snacks. It was the trip back home that changed my opinion of this Airline.
It all started off when we boarded the plane in Hawaii, the airline stewards and stewardesses were extremely rude. They treated the passengers like cattle. The way they carried themselves and their tone of voice was enough to make you angry. They hurried people and talked down to them. One elderly gentleman was having trouble placing his bag in the overhead department and I can recall almost as if I heard it yesterday. The stewardess kept being rude and shouting to him from across the plane that he needed to take his seat and step out of the aisle. Obviously he was having trouble and she should have helped him instead of repeating several times in a snotty tone as if he was stupid.
We were offered food but refused service when we told them we didn't have exact change, it was inconvenient to them to have to break a twenty dollar bill. They huffed and puffed when anyone offered anything but the exact change. When we landed we looked out the window and saw the airline workers throw around not only our bags, but others as well like they were sacks of garbage.
We were hurried off the plane and the employees rolled their eyes and didn't show a lick of respect. It was as if they were disgusted of all the passengers. I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my entire life. For a major Airline, I expected more from them. I never again will fly with this company. The trip home was very unpleasant and I highly recommend that you fly with another Airline that can at least pretend that they like their job.
