Treasure Island is located about 35 south of the Twin Cities. It is close enough to all that Minnesota has to offer, yet you are away from all of the commotion.

This way you can get away from the kids for awhile, while you go and play the slots.

I think it is a great place to stay with the whole family because you can all go swimming in their wonderful pool. It is located in the center of the hotel, set in a tropical theme. It is so beautiful, you just have to experience it for yourself. They also do have a few arcade games located in the pool area for the older children to play. You and your significant other can get cozy in one of the two whirlpools located next to the indoor swimming pool. If you want to cool off in the swimming pool, you can hang out under the waterfall.

Besides the lovely hotel and huge casino floor, they also have several dining options for you to choose from. My recommendation for the best dining place in Treasure Island is the buffet. The buffet is quite large and has a big selection sure to please everyone. There is also places to pick up a cup of coffee if you need, or quick bites for on the go.

There is fun for the whole family, and you are close to Minnesota's great attractions. You are about an hour away from the MSP airport as well as the Mall of America.
