A couple weeks ago, my wife was out shopping at Wal-mart and brought home a box of Trojan Pleasures Ecstasy Condoms. She had seen we were running low and decided to pick up some of them to try.
Since my wife is on the pill, condoms aren't really a necessity for us in the bedroom. But, there are times when she insists on using them (usually after she just got done taking a shower or just doesn't feel like cleaning up afterwards). And, to be honest with you, these times do end up being a bit of a disappointment for me because condoms, regardless of the brand, do tend to desensitize me to the point I just don't enjoy the sex that much.
So, when I saw this particular brand/variety of condoms, I really wasn't as excited about them as she was. Yes, they promised things like an extra thin layer of latex and a fire and ice sensation. But, I've seen those promises made before and never noticed any difference.
However, after using these condoms a few times now, I have to admit, I was very surprised by them.
Let me start out by saying, they are still condoms and, if given a choice, I would definitely prefer not to use one when making love to my wife. But, when I compare them to others I've tried, I do have to admit they were better than expected.
As expected, I don't personally feel the whole fire and ice effect they promise. However, my wife definitely does and enjoys it. That, alone, makes them worth the money because I do care about her enjoyment too; despite the fact she does seem to make me wear them more often just because of that.
When it comes to my enjoyment, the part I noticed right away is I do actually feel something. Again, this was somewhat surprising since I have purchased ultra thin condoms in the past and was disappointed. But, when I wear one of these, there is definitely some sensation (even though it still isn't the same as not wearing one).
As a result of this, these condoms have easily moved to the top of my list of favorites and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a condom to try.
