If you want to stay in a luxury resort on the North Shore of Oahu, Turtle Bay Resort is the only game in town. And fortunately, Turtle Bay Resort is really the only choice you need. It is a magnificent place with nearly nine hundred acres of natural Hawaiian landscape, set far away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Here is a review of Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu.

During the winter, the North Shore of Oahu is a mecca for professional surfers. But all year long, the area boasts stunning scenery and an authentic Hawaiian setting unlike the busy streets of downtown Honolulu.

The guest rooms at Turtle Bay Resort average nearly five hundred square feet and are well-decorated. Each offer a lanai with a stunning view. In all, Turtle Bay Resort is comprised of more than three hundred and seventy rooms, forty suites, forty-two beach cottages, and fifty-six ocean villas. The resort boasts room service and in-room refrigerators, as well as four restaurants, bars, beachfront and children's programs.

Activities at Turtle Bay Resort include golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, a gym and a spa. And of course, there are any number of activities to enjoy throughout the island of Oahu, including ocean swimming, surfing, sailboarding, wind surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, horse riding, hiking, whale watching, and much more.

Although Turtle Bay Resort is located on the opposite side of the island from Waikiki, you will still be just an hour's drive away from the city. The North Shore offers the peace and quiet of the country, along with beautiful beaches, azure blue sea, and mountains that will take your breath away.

Turtle Bay Resort offers twelve miles of nature trails. You may recognize some of the setting from the hit television series Lost. The beaches and coves and forest on and surrounding Turtle Bay Resort have been used for location filming.

The service at Turtle Bay Resort is impeccable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. At Turtle Bay Resort, you are assured a magnificent experience, whether you are in Hawaii for business or pleasure, or just a romantic island holiday.

Turtle Bay Resort is located at 57-091 Kamehameha Highway in Kahuku. (Don't worry, you will pronouncing these words in no time once you are on the island). For more information, including room rates and availability, check out the Turtle Bay Resort web site at turtlebayresort.com, or call 808-293-8811 or 800-203-3650.

Aloha, and enjoy your stay on the fabulous island of Oahu!

Sounds fabulous! I love that it is more tucked away and authentic than the more touristy areas of Hawaii.
