While shopping for a microwave friendly family style chicken meal, I came across a bag of Tyson Southern Style Breast Tenderloins, in the frozen meats section of my local grocery store. I am a fan of many Tyson frozen foods products. This one looked spectacular! I decided to buy it. This is what I found out!
One bag of Tyson Southern Style Breast Tenderloins costs around six dollars, depending on what store you purchase these at. Each bag has eight servings in it and that is a good food budget friendly price, in my book. These chicken tenderloins have all natural ingredients. They are also made with white meat. Wonderful. Did I mention that these have no preservatives in them? Yep. Preservative free! Awesome.
You can heat these up in a conventional oven. They are fully cooked. You can also microwave them and that is what I did. I placed a few of these on a microwave safe plate, heated on high for a few minutes, let cool for a minute and served. These looked so good! When I tasted one, I smiled. These are truly delicious. They have seasoned southern style batter on them. They are tender and juicy. And, really meaty! These rock. I served these to my family and they got rave reviews. These are the closest thing to homemade southern style battered chicken strips I have ever tried. It is amazing that these are frozen. They taste fresh and have a home cooked flavor.
I rate Tyson Southern Style Breast Tenderloins five stars out of five stars. They are perfect. Satisfying and worth the money. This product makes me proud to write a review. From the heart, these are special. I love them. One serving has 180 calories. 80 of those calories come from fat. One serving has 9 grams of total fat, 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 3 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 4 grams of monounsaturated fat, 25 mg's of cholesterol, 450 mg's of sodium, 12 grams of total carbs, 1 gram of sugars and 13 grams of protein. Yes, these are protein rich. This product does contain wheat and milk ingredients, important information for food allergy sufferers.
These chicken tenderloins impressed me and they are so worth a try. I enjoy these and they make dinner fun. They go well with mac and cheese, slaw, beans and fries. Supper made simple. And affordable. I can always use that! I have five years experience reviewing food products and also serve on many survey panels. In all of that time, this is one of my favorite products!
