Review: Vaseline Deep Conditioning Cocoa Butter

I have always suffered with dry skin on my body, particularly my ankles and elbows, but pretty much everywhere. I have tried unthinkable amounts of different moisturisers of different intensities and types. But I have always found cocoa butter to be one of the most effective, I have tried numerous different brands of cocoa butter, ranging from store brand to high end.

I saw Vaseline deep conditioning cocoa butter on offer at half price, making it £1.79, so I thought I would give it a try.

The packaging.

Quite a sleek brown squeezy bottle.

The smell.

I have always loved the smell of cocoa butter, and this product is no exception, it has a delicious cocoa butter smell with a slight alcohol smell in there too. It is not an overpowering smell, just slightly reminiscent of a pina colada.

Does it work?

Yes it does!

It glides over the skin easily and it does not drag, it leaves a delicate shimmer on the skin but it is not greasy and it is very easily absorbed.

My skin felt smoother and the tightness and dryness disappeared quickly, and even my stretchmarks seem to have visibly reduced!
