Review of Vitalicious Egg and Cheese with Veggies on Whole Wheat English Muffins

All Natural, Low Cal and Delicious

Bridgitte Williams

Recently, a relative of mine suggested that I try Vitalicious Egg and Cheese with Veggies on Whole Wheat English Muffins. I found these in the frozen breakfast foods section of my local grocery store and they did look pretty darn good. I decided to buy them, try them out and write a product review all about my experience with them. Here is what I discovered!

A box of two Vitalicious Egg and Cheese with Veggies on Whole Wheat English Muffins costs a bit over two dollars. The price does vary, depending on what store you buy these at. This breakfast sandwich is low cal, I discovered. It has egg whites, green and red peppers, onions, spices and other ingredients. This treat has a lot of great and healthy things going for it. It is low in saturated fat, low in cholesterol, protein rich, packed with vitamins and minerals, reduced sodium and lots of whole grain. No artificial colors or preservatives. Fabulous. I could not wait to taste these!

These are perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to heat them up. I wrapped one in a paper towel, placed it on a microwave safe plate, microwaved on high for fifty-five seconds, let cool for thirty seconds and served. This sandwich smelled fabulous and looked very good. When I tasted it, I liked it. It is delicious. Very flavorful. The veggies, cheese and eggs are perfect together and the English muffin is yummy. This is filling and delightful. It goes well with juice, milk or coffee. I was not familiar with the brand Vitalicious, but I am now. I plan to try more of their frozen food products in the future. My relative was right. I liked these a lot.

One of these sandwiches has 150 calories. Only 13.5 of those calories come from fat. Wow! One of these has 1.5 grams of total fat, 0 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 3 mg's of cholesterol, 320 mg's of sodium, 22 grams of total carbs, 7 grams of dietary fiber, yay, 3.5 grams of sugars and 14 grams of protein. I was astounded at the large amount of vitamins and minerals in this meal. This product does contain soy, eggs, milk and wheat.

I enjoyed trying Vitalicious Egg and Cheese with Veggies on Whole Wheat English Muffins and writing a product review about them. This is a healthy and diet friendly sandwich and I appreciate that. The motto for this company is "Maximum pleasure. Maximum nutrition. Minimum calories." The first 150 calorie breakfast sandwich. Yep. This one is a winner! I rate these three and one half stars out of five stars.
