Review: Wal-mart 3 Stone Heart Shaped Pink Sapphire and Diamonds Ring

Even though Christmas is coming up in a little over a month, I wanted to do something special for my wife with some sort of "just because" gift that actually cost me more than $10 for a change. And, since she had been dropping hints about wanting a new ring from me, I decided to find her one.

As I said before, I didn't want to cheap out but, at the same time, I had to find something that wasn't going to completely destroy my budget. So, I ended up searching at Wal-mart and ultimately purchased the 3 Stone Heart Shaped Pink Sapphire and Diamonds Ring for her.

I actually discovered this ring on-line at Walmart.com and, from the second I saw it, I knew it was the perfect ring for her. The three pink hearts really stood out and I liked the fact it had diamonds decorating it as well. I figured it would be great for wearing in place of her wedding ring (she sometimes takes that off when she has to work out of fear of losing it) and would look great for a night on the town without looking too much like costume jewelry.

When I got the ring, I was pleased to discover it was bigger than I was expecting it to be. I figured, like many women's rings, it would be very small and I liked the fact it was something that was very noticeable. And, so far, both my wife and her friends love it. Her boss was even asking about what the hearts were made out of and jokingly asked what it was that I did wrong to make me feel like I had to bribe her like that.

The only thing I noticed about this ring that I didn't like was the sharp points on top of it (where the heart-shaped sapphires rest). Those do jut out a bit and are very sharp. The ring turned a bit on my wife's hand the other day and ended up drawing blood from her other finger.

Also, because the gems are raised a bit, I was a bit concerned about how long it would take before she ended up damaging them. That's why I took the optional service plan.

Overall though, I am happy with this purchase. As I said before, my wife loves it and I didn't have to break the bank buying it for her. If you are looking for a great gift for some important woman in your life, I would recommend this product.
