Walmart carries more recycled shoes for sale than regular shoes. I purchased a pair of the recycled sneakers and they only lasted about two months. They started coming apart at the seams and for a consumer to pay good money for shoes they should get good quality and the shoes should last longer than two months. This is not acceptable in my eyes. I do not know if anyone else has had this problem or not.
The next time a shopper visits Walmart, check out the shoe department and see for yourself all the recycled shoes for sale. The store is selling recycled shoes for men; women and children for the same price you would buy a shoe that is not recycled. In my eyes if you buy recycled it should be cheaper because they do not last long enough to break them in let alone want to spend the same amount of money as buying a quality pair.
This makes consumer's feel as if Walmart is cheating them out of money to get more shoe sales. Guess Walmart figures if the recycled shoes only last two months or less that the consumer will keep coming back and purchase more, wrong. That will not happen.
Recycling is a great idea but when it comes to certain things people should always get quality not cheap made things that will not last but a few days or weeks. This is not good business in any way. I just wanted consumers to know that recycled shoes do not last long.
