Review of Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine
Taste Test of Weight Watchers Ravioli Florentine Frozen Dinner
Directions for preparing the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine are quite simple. Peel back the film over the meal, microwave the meal for 2 minutes on high, stir, replace film and microwave another 90 seconds and let stand for 1-2 minutes. After following these directions the meal was extremely hot and needed to cool another couple minutes to eat. The ravioli was good, soft but not too soft, and the meal looked pretty decent. The ricotta cheese inside the ravioli tasted fine but it was somewhat dry and there wasn't enough sauce in the meal to suit my taste. The chunky tomato and spinach marinara sauce was pretty unremarkable in terms of flavor. At only 8.5 ounces, the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine is smaller than many frozen dinners but it was filling. While it was not nearly as tasty as a homemade or restaurant ravioli dinner (complete with a load of fat and calories!), the Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine was satisfactory.
The meal contains 250 calories and five grams of fat, which includes two grams of saturated fat and no trans fat. As with most frozen meals the meal is loaded with sodium. At 720mg it is certain high in sodium but less than many other frozen dinners. The Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine also contains 30mg of cholesterol, 40g of carbohydrates (12g sugar), and 11g of protein. The Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine sells for about $3 and can be purchased in grocery and other stores across the country.
The Weight Watchers Smart Ones Ravioli Florentine is a frozen dinner that provides a quick and easy meal for those following the Weight Watchers diet or other diets. For those unconcerned about their weight, there are probably better choices on the market in terms of taste.
