Review of Wolf Brand Chili

This is a review of Wolf Brand Chili. I love chili as do most Americans. As long as I can remember I have loved chili. Chili on hot dogs, big bowl of chili with onions, cheese and sometimes fritos. I have even grown to love chili cheese fries. Just about everything goes with chili! Okay not everything, but you get the picture.

Finding a good chili can sometimes be hard. Homemade chili is the best, but sometimes we do not have the time, energy, or the desire to whip up a batch. So when you are opting to buy chili in a can you want to buy a good one. I highly recommend Wolf Brand Chili.

I have tried several brands of canned chili. Hormel, Wolf Brand and most recently, Shur Fine. The best chili by far is Wolf Brand. It has a strong taste yet not too spicy or too bland. The Hormel chili, in my opinion, was very bland with no spice at all. Shur Fine brand was actually okay. Not as good as Wolf Brand but it would work if it had too.

Wolf Brand Chili comes with beans or without beans. I prefer without beans but I know a lot of folks like beans. You might want to have a bottle of beano handy though if you choose Wolf Brand Chili with beans.

I have been buying Wolf Brand Chili for around $1.32 for a 15 oz. can. Wal-mart has them on sale ever so often for $1.00 a can. If you use coupons and put them with sales you can really get a good deal. When you do come across a good deal I would stock up on it. You never want to run out of chili!

Wolf Brand Chili is rather high in calories. Not a great choice if you are on Weight Watchers. They do have turkey chili which is about half the calories and still very good. So, at least there are healthier options available.

Wolf Brand Chili also comes in several sizes. It comes in a small can all the way up to a huge can that would serve several. Wolf Brand Chili is also very versatile. You can eat it alone or use it to make enchiladas, burritos, or on hot dogs.

I give Wolf Brand Chili an A+! I definitely recommend Wolf Brand Chili as the chili of choice when you want to buy a canned chili.

recently purchased a can of wolf brand chili, no beans and it was so bad had to discard the entire chili casserole and eat a sandwich for dinner. will never purchase that product again. sadly there is no contact on their web page which accounts for my negative comment and consider it poor web posting on their part so that no one can post directly.

I have eaten and loved Chili and Chili w beans for many years. Dennison's used to be very good, however they have done something over the years and the Chili is lousy. Hormel and Nalley's are no better. I didn't know until I recently purchased Wolf brand Chili at my local Walmart that this is one AWESOME brand of canned Chili. It's the BEST Chili in a can I've EVER tasted. When I mentioned this to my mom, she told me that in he late 60's and early 70's that my aunt used to always bring back lots of Wolf Chili when she traveled from California to Corsicana, Texas. Wolf needs to get their brand out in EVERY store NATIONWIDE. If you like Chili you will LOVE the Wolf Brand.
